Code of Conduct
Applies to all players, parents/guardians, coaches, volunteers, officials and supporters — at all times, on and off the field.
PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT
Play the right way
- Play by the rules of the game, the league and the Club
- Respect umpires and officials — without them, there is no game
- Accept decisions and move on
Respect others
- Treat teammates, opponents and officials with respect
- No bullying, intimidation or unfair play
- No racist, discriminatory or offensive language — ever
Be a team player
- Support your teammates
- Listen to your coach and work together
- Play for enjoyment, development and effort
Take responsibility
- Control your behaviour — no abuse, sledging or aggression
- Communicate availability for training and games early
- Respect Club facilities, grounds and equipment
Represent the Foxes
- Your behaviour reflects the Club — at home and away
- Act with integrity at all times
COACHES, OFFICIALS & VOLUNTEERS
Put the child first
Every decision and interaction must prioritise the safety, dignity and wellbeing of the child above all else.
- Treat every player with respect, fairness and kindness
- Create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment
- Focus on development, effort and enjoyment — not just results
Lead with integrity
- Be a positive role model in behaviour and communication
- Do not use intimidation, humiliation or favouritism
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with players and families
Respect boundaries and safety requirements
Communication
- No adult is to privately message a player under 18
- All communication must include a parent/guardian or authorised Club representative
Physical contact
- Physical contact must be appropriate, necessary and non-intrusive only (e.g. skill demonstration or injury support)
- Avoid unnecessary or prolonged contact
- Always consider the comfort and consent of the player
Supervision
- Do not be alone with a player where you cannot be seen by others
- Maintain appropriate supervision at all times (training, games, change rooms, travel)
Images and social media
- Do not take, store or share images/video of players without appropriate consent
- Do not post player content to personal accounts without approval
Transport
- Do not transport a player alone without prior parent/guardian approval and Club awareness
Reporting
- Any concerns regarding a child’s safety or wellbeing must be reported immediately to the Committee
- Serious matters may be escalated to governing bodies or relevant authorities
PARENTS, GUARDIANS & SUPPORTERS
Put kids first
- Children play sport for enjoyment — keep it that way
- Support effort, development and participation over winning
Lead by example
- Show respect to players, coaches, umpires and volunteers
- Encourage fair play and positive behaviour
- Appreciate all participants — from both teams
Respect the game
- Never abuse, threaten or intimidate anyone
- Accept decisions of officials and the Club
- Do not engage in behaviour that brings the Club into disrepute
Zero tolerance behaviour
- No racism, discrimination or offensive language
- No verbal or physical abuse
- No unsociable or disruptive behaviour at Club events
Club standards
- No alcohol at junior matches or training
- Follow Club communication and conduct expectations
- Support a safe, respectful and inclusive environment
ACCOUNTABILITY
All members are expected to uphold this Code.
Breaches may result in disciplinary action, including:
- Warnings
- Suspension
- Removal from teams, roles or membership
- Further action in line with league rules or applicable law

By registering with the Narre North Foxes Junior Football Club, members agree to:
- Abide by this Code of Conduct
- Support the Club in maintaining a safe, respectful environment
- Accept that action may be taken where standards are not met
By registering our child with the Narre North Foxes Football Club we agree to abide by the above principles. We support the Narre North Foxes FC Committee in its undertakings and encourage them to take any disciplinary action they deem appropriate if a breach of the Code of Behaviour/Conduct occurs.
